Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a boat handrail. This marine handrail provides a secure grip to help you get into or out of the water. It allows you to lower yourself from your boat's platform, or pull yourself back up onto your deck. When it comes to the construction, we're looking electro polished 3/16 stainless steel. It's extremely corrosion resistant, it's very strong and durable. This is a flush mount design, so there's no visible signs of mounting hardware, offering a really nice, clean look once it's installed.The handrail mounts directly to your boat deck with the included hardware.
So you have the studs, flat washers, and the installation nuts. Now, when it comes to the specs or the measurements, the studs on the unit are separated on center, apart from one another by nine inches. The actual diameter of the handrail, or of the bar, that's 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The studs measure 5/16 of an inch in diameter, by 2-3/8 inches long.Now, once installed, you'll have around an inch and a half of space between the installation surface and the bottom of the hand. So that's plenty of room to get your hand in there and get an easy grip on the handrail.
The overall length from edge to edge, that measures about 10-1/4 inches. And then once installed, the overall height from the installation surface to the top of the handle, that measures 2-5/16 of an inch.
